Created by Yann Vasnier, Byerley celebrates the proud history of the majestic horse. It shares its namesake with one of the earliest three stallions, deemed the founders of the modern thoroughbred horse racing bloodstock. According to legend, this dark brown stallion was born during a thunderstorm; as a result, he was a fearsome warhorse as he didn't fear the sounds of gunfire.
It's incredibly fitting that Parfums de Marly's Eau de Parfum is just as unwavering. It opens with a clever juxtaposition of spicy-floral bergamot and warm cardamon before blending into a sensual, heart of cedarwood and guaiac wood, resulting in a fragrance that's intense and characterful.
Finally, the base marries earthy-smoky vetiver and ambery balsam, rounding off this rich and lasting scent.
